Lest we forget one of the more profound ones whose memory could be the
source of much resistance. Assuming this industry had any memory... 
                  TCP/IP -> MAP/TOP/GOSIP -> TCP/IP
Complete with government mandates, dual stacking, and RFP inclusion.
