Dear NANOG 68 Attendees:

Welcome to NANOG 68, sponsored by CyrusOne, at the Fairmont Dallas Hotel.
We are expecting strong attendance, with 1,012 individuals registered for
the meeting as of this email.  Based on our registration data, 324 people
have indicated they are attending a NANOG meeting for the first time.  Of
those attending, 261 are also NANOG Members.

Android devices.  Once the app is installed, select “Download Guides” at
the bottom and search for “NANOG 68”.  There are a number of features in
Guidebook this meeting.  You can download all or only some of the agenda
items that you want, find a map of the hotel meeting venue, search nearby
restaurants, connect to social media sites, and you can even take the
General and Daily Presentation survey right from your mobile device!

Meeting Check-in

Meeting registration is in the Regency Foyer (Banquet Level) of the hotel.
When you arrive at the meeting, please check-in at the NANOG Registration
Desk to pick up your name badge, NANOG 68 T-shirt, giveaways and important

The registration desk will be open during the following hours:

• Sunday 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

• Monday - Wednesday 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Membership and Sponsorship Information

Beginning on Monday afternoon, staff will be available during breaks in the
Regency Foyer near the Registration area to answer your Membership and
Sponsorship questions.  If you become a NANOG Member

by Registration and pick up your premium drink tickets for the Tuesday
night Beer n’ Gear.  Also as *NANOG Members*, be sure to sign-up for
an Individual

   Monday: Extended Welcome Breakfast will be served in the Gold Room
   (Banquet Level) with overflow in the Parisian Room (Banquet Level) from
   8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

   Tuesday: Power Breakfast will be served in the International Ballroom
   (Lobby Level) from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.

   Wednesday: Power Breakfast will be served in the International Ballroom
   (Lobby Level) from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.

   (Lobby Level) open to all attendees, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Hotel Guest Room Internet access utilizing hotel wireless infrastructure is

The NANOG conference network is geared for high availability and

security offered by IPsec, SSL, SSH or similar VPN technology.

The Fairmont Dallas Hotel is just 6 mi  from Dallas Love Field Airport and
21 mi from Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport.


   Super Shuttle: 972.615.2410, $17 per person, service to both DAL and DFW

   Valet Parking is $28.00 per night.  A 20% discount is available to NANOG

   Taxi: Sample taxi fare between downtown and Dallas Love Field Airport is
   $18.00 - $25.00, and between Dallas Fort Worth International Airport is
