<div dir="ltr">Texas does have DC ties to other grids, there just isn't enough capacity there to really matter (820 MW total to the Eastern US grid). This is fairly standard though when you're on your own grid, UK and France have DC ties as well that run underneath the English Channel.<div><br></div><div>ERCOT is using a little bit
