One could use a similar approach tho probably an entire routing
infrastructure would also need to be simulated. It wouldn't just be
sneaking a packet from here to there, it would be the emulation of an
entire network most likely. Hard to say w/o a design spec :-)

But at the end of the day it's just bits.
