I've looked before how to migrate from mysql to postgres and was shocked at how little there seems to be out there to even do even the easier stuff let alone the proprietary extensions.

Look closer. The AWS RDS version of mysql is unable to replicate with
your version of mysql. The configuration which would permit it is not
exposed to you.

Unless something has changed in the last couple years?
