I've had no complaints about reliability.  In terms of transmit power 
and receiver performance, they seem to have a bit more variability than 
some of the bigger brands' offerings, but they seem to always be within 
spec.

They're cheap enough to keep several spares around and still come out 
ahead of buying name-brand let alone OEM vendor-branded optics, too.
