How much data are we talking about here?  A few floppy disks ? a couple
of megabytes ? gigabytes ? terabytes ? petabytes ?

Have you considered giving "courtesy copies" to other environmental
organistaions such as Environment Canada, Australian Bureau of
Meteorology etc ?
