in your ~argus/data/users file (or equivalent) specify
<user>   <crypt>    <home obj>  <groups>

for example, for an admin (root) type user:
admin    asdfasdfasdf1   Top     root

or, for someone who only gets a partial view:
acme     qwerqwerqwer1   Top:custs:acme  acme
