Greetings!

We are fast approaching the start to the first NANOG outside of mainland
North America in beautiful Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. We are excited
about the agenda and the spectacular venue (especially the weather). The
agenda can be found here: http://www.nanog.org/meetings/nanog45/agenda.php

As a reminder, full payment for standard registration (US$525) must be
postmarked by 01/15/2009. Registration on or after January 16th as well as
payments processed on-site will be US$600, so please hurry up and make your
plans.

The Dominican government is throwing a welcome party for all NANOG attendees
at Columbus Square in the colonial district of Santo Domingo. This venue is
surrounded by structures built as early as the 1400¹s. The national dancers
will be performing along with traditional music, food and drink. Busses will
leave the NANOG hotel beginning at 7:30pm on Sunday the 25th and will
circulate approximately every 10 minutes (the journey is less than 10
minutes). This is something not to be missed!

We would also like to remind you that Lightning talk submissions are open
and the Program Committee will be selecting the first three talks this week.
If you have an idea, please submit an abstract as soon as possible. The
earlier you submit, the better your chances at getting your talk accepted.

We all look forward to seeing you in 12 days for the start of an exciting
NANOG!

Cheers,

Josh
