Attention NANOG Community:

As we have been discussing for months.  The day is here.  The NANOG Email 
List is moving to a new machine using new tools!!!

Everyone receiving this email message will be affected by the 
NANOG at nanog.org List Transition.  This is NOT a new community list, just a 
list management change.  Merits goal is to better serve the community and 
allow each of you to have better control over your subscription to the 
NANOG community list.


Effective April 18, 2008 (scheduled for 8 AM EST)


NANOG at nanog.org subscribers (you) will receive an invitation to join the 
NANOG community list. This email message will point subscribers (you) to a 
mailman web interface where you can choose email receive options.  In 
addition you can choose to also set a password to manage your subscription.

NANOG-Post at nanog.org subscribers will be added to the new mailman NANOG 
list service.  Meaning these subscribers will receive the same message as 
stated above.

NANOG-Announce at nanog.org subscribers will also be added to the new mailman 
NANOG-Announce list service.  Meaning these subscribers will receive the 
same message as stated above.

NANOG-Digest at nanog.org subscribers will be added to the new mailman NANOG 
list service with a digest option highlighted.  These subscribers will 
receive the same message as stated above.

The old NANOG list archives will remain at - 
http://www.merit.edu/mail.archives/nanog

The new NANOG list archives will be found at - 
http://mailman.nanog.org/mailman/private/nanog

Again, the NANOG list transition is scheduled for 8:00 AM EST. on Friday 
April 18, 2008. If you are in need of additional information and/or are
