Using Mobile Phone email addys for monitoring

Any place I've worked thats used sms alerting has ended up using either 
sms-tools (http://smstools.meinemullemaus.de/) or gnokki 
(www.gnokii.org) with a bit of scripting to send the sms ourselves.
