Microsoft problems?

Sure. It was also down for "scheduled maintenance" for quite a while 
yesterday.
Their website also only barfs out messages like

  Server Error in '/' Application.

application error from being viewed remotely (for security reasons). It 
could, however, be viewed by browsers running on the local server machine.

The main question is, what's new here?
