It looks to _me_ (as it does to about 95% of the people on this mailing
list, I'm sure) like you're trying to use something totally inadequate for
your purposes.
If you're using the standard "small business trying to get a connection for
web browsing and email" package that's aimed at your average
non-computer-related small business (eg: a small law or accounting firm),
then you shouldn't be surprised that they want to be the technical contact
and authoritative DNS for your domains, because that's part of their
offering. And, I might add, it's a very good thing they offer that, because
your average small business probably doesn't have a clue what DNS is.

Now, I realize your name isn't Alex Black (unless you have multiple
