Rodney,
I agree with you that the tech contact data should be accurate. We are
very careful to maintain our contact record with current data in the whois
database. We WANT to know when an issue exists that requires our immediate
attention.
But, with the abuse of the database for marketing purposes, an ISP should
be cautious in what information they make publically available regarding
their customers.
