We have put together a package deal for those that are interested 
in Skiing in New Mexico during the NANOG 12 event.

Below are the details:

Full Day Skiing or Tour of the Santa Fe area.
Feb 7 and/or Feb 8

Ski Santa Fe New Mexico

Depart the Holiday Inn Crowne Plaza this morning for a
terrific day on the ski slopes!  Your delux coach and escort 
will meet you at 8:00 AM at your hotel and take a drive to
the Santa Fe Ski Basin.  Our excort will pass out all the 
ski lift tickets during the drive.

Guests may bring their own ski equipment or pay an additional 
$15.00 at the ski area for rentals.  Ski the day away on this 
multi-level slope with incredible scenic views of the New 
Mexico desert.  Santa Fe Ski Basin offers an unbeatable 
combination, style and hospitality.  The top elevation of this 
moutain in 10,350 feet with a vertical drop of 1,700 feet.  
The mountain satisfies skiers of every level with a variety 
of terrain from shutes, glades and bowls to broad avenues of
groomed corduroy.  There are seven lifts and 600 acres of 
stunning terrain at the Sante Fe Ski Area, located within the 
towering Sagre de Cristo Mountains.

There are two slopeside eateries where you can enjoy lunch on 
your own.  One is Totemoff's Lodge, midway down the mountain 
where you can stop to have a drink and a burger and bask in 
the sun on the ample deck.  For more diverse offerings, try La 
Casa Cafe & Outdoor Grill at the base - a spacious, sun
drenched room with big south-facing windows and an adjoining 
deck, featuring a wide variety of food.

After skiing all day, sit back and relax on the return trip to 
Albuquerque, arriving at approximately 6:00pm

Price per person day:				$70.00
Price per person day to Santa Fe Only:		$35.00

Price is based on 30 paid guests and is net, non-commissionable.

A $2.00 per person gratuity to the Guide and Driver is highly suggested.

Notes from a New Mexcican:

Bring SUN BLOCK!  
You are much higher than normal and will QUICKLY TAN / BURN

Drink PLENTY of WATER (Not soda pop).  In the Southwest you can
get dehydrated very quickly.  This is for both the skiiers and the 

Have some energy foods with you. 

Dress in layers so that you can shed them if you get to warm or add
them back if you get cold.

Tempature differences are great between day and night time.
