Network Systems has a box which does this for IP over ATM packets.  I
believe that it runs at full OC-3c (155 Mbps) speed.  It also potentially
does a bunch of other stuff to the IP packets.

It might make an interesting NANOG presentation, if it hasn't been done
already.
