I see in today's SF Chronicle that Cisco is one of the promoters
of the Internet-II project along with Stanford, other universities
and companies. Perhaps you could start by convincing Cisco mgmt
and save cisco shareholders' money.

Unrelated but see above the support of Cisco, Sprint etc.

The same article quoted someone at EFF that there is no need
for a new Internet as the current one can be made faster by using
cable modems. Hmmm..
