Dear NANOG 58 Attendees:

We look forward to seeing you at NANOG 58, hosted by Verizon Terremark,
June 3-5, 2013, at the Roosevelt New Orleans Hotel. We are expecting strong
attendance, with nearly 470 registered attendees as of this date. This
message contains information and brief reminders to help you prepare for
the NANOG meeting.

*Agenda and Highlights*

The complete NANOG 58 agenda is available along with the NANOG meeting
hotel space layout.

Upon checking in at Registration, an abbreviated paper copy of the agenda
will be provided with your name badge. Highlights of the meeting agenda and
other activities are summarized.

*Meeting Check-in*

Meeting registration & check-in will be held at the Roosevelt Foyer,
located on the Mezzanine Level of the hotel. When you arrive at the
meeting, please check-in at the NANOG Registration Desk to pick up your
name badge, T-shirt, attendee gifts and important handouts. The
registration desk will be open during the following hours: Sunday 4:00 p.m.
to 6:00 p.m., Monday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and
Wednesday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

*Membership and Sponsorship Table*

Beginning on Monday afternoon, committee members will be available during
breaks to answer your Membership and Sponsorship questions. This is located
near the registration area.

*Community and Member Meeting*

We invite you to attend and participate in the NANOG Community Meeting on
Monday, from 5:45 – 6:15 p.m. in the Crescent City Ballroom. The Community
Meeting, hosted by the NANOG Board, will provide an opportunity to hear
about new NANOG activities and learn of ways you can become further engaged

*Welcome Lunch and Newcomers Lunch*

The Monday Welcome Lunch, open to all attendees will be in the Roosevelt
Foyer at 12:30 p.m.  This is a great time to begin the ever famous, NANOG
hallway conversations.

If this is your first NANOG meeting, you are encouraged to attend the
Monday Newcomers Lunch with other NANOGers (meet and greet the NANOG
community and start socializing) at 12:30 p.m. in Salon IV/V, located on
the Mezzanine Level.

*Members Breakfast*

The Member Meeting will be held during Tuesday Breakfast 8:30 – 9:30 am in
Salon IV/V and is open to NANOG Members.  Members will be provided an
important opportunity to learn about organizational updates and communicate
with the Board and other NANOG committees.

*Daily Breakfast 8:30 – 9:30 am*

A Continental Breakfast on Monday, and Power (hot) Breakfast on Tuesday and
Wednesday will be served at the Roosevelt Foyer. We invite you to join us!


Please join us in thanking the NANOG 58 meeting host, contributors, and
sponsors for their generosity in support of the NANOG community.


We are pleased to remind you of the following special opportunities to
gather outside the formal meeting;

• Monday, June 3rd - 6:30 – 9:30 p.m. BTI and CoreSite will be hosting an
off-site social at the House of Blues.

• Tuesday, June 4th - 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. the ever famous NANOG Beer n’
Gear will be held at the Waldorf Astoria Ballroom.

• Tuesday, June 4th Beginning 8:15 p.m. Verizon Terremark is holding an
off-site social at Steamboat Natchez.

• Wednesday, June 5th Beginning at 6:30 p.m. Netflix and Equnix will be
hosting an off-site send-off social at Court of Two Sisters.

*Wireless Network*

Information is posted on the website and the network staff will be
available onsite at the NANOG 58 venue to assist with any questions.  All
network questions or problems should be reported to nanog-eng at nanog.org.

In-room Internet Access

If you are staying at the Roosevelt New Orleans Hotel under the NANOG group
rate, in-room Internet access is complimentary. When you check in, the
hotel should provide you with instructions for complimentary usage.

We have provided a few highlights to make your stay more enjoyable.
 However should you have further questions regarding the sites and sounds
of New Orleans always feel free to stop by the hotel Concierge Desk for
further recommendations.
