Seconded. 

At dnswl.org <http://dnswl.org/>, most of Amazon IP space has a pretty bad reputation (for outbound SMTP traffic). Abuse desk is unresponsive and IPs mostly lack proper rDNS which would allow to identify responsible party. Amazon may be a good choice for some people for some use cases, but outbound SMTP is not such a use case.
