Odd.  All the hex and decimal have proper indicators (initial 1-9 or 0x), and
should be easily understood by anybody who actually knows their number systems.
Be glad they didn't throw in octal without a leading 0. :)

Would host-242.strgz.87.118.199.240.slash28.macomnet.net have confused you less?
