One-Day Educational Program to Focus on Technical Practices, Current Network Topics, IPv6 Adoption, Internet Governance, and More

The North American Network Operators' Group (NANOG) <https://www.nanog.org/> is pleased to announce NANOG On The Road <https://www.nanog.org/meetings/road16/home> to be held Thursday, November 2, 2017 at the Hilton Fort Lauderdale Marina <http://www3.hilton.com/en/hotels/florida/hilton-fort-lauderdale-marina-FLLGRHH/index.html?WT.mc_id=zDMSE0US1HI2NaturalSearch3GoogleMyBusiness4GMBL_Aug5GMBL6FLLGRHH7EN8i1>.  Registration <http://www.cvent.com/d/r5qyv7/4W> for this free-to-attend event features an education-based program offering attendees the opportunity to hear from industry leaders through presentations, tutorials, and interactive discussions.  Networking opportunities among industry veterans and budding professionals will also be available.

The NANOG On The Road event includes a series of informational sessions regarding network security; Domain Name System Security Extensions (DNSSEC) and Resource Public Key Infrastructure (RPKI); and tutorials on Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) and DDoS Mitigation.  The program also features an open Q&A session for attendees to ask about any of the day’s presentations and NANOG.

NANOG On The Road will be held from 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, and features a post-event reception concluding at 6:30 PM.  There is no fee to attend; however, registration is required to reserve a seat.  Attendees can register by visiting: http://www.cvent.com/d/r5qyv7.  Registration is now open.
